This is a picture of the TV tower I forgot to add in to my last Bund post. I can tell I'm beginning to get lazy in my posting :)
On our last night in China, we took a cruise down the Huangpu river to see the Pudong side of Shanghai.
It was really great to be able to see everything so close. Those skyscrapers are pretty high-tech and impressive!
This is the famous TV tower that you always see in pictures of the Bund and Pudong.
They fed us snacks and gave us seats a the top of the boat. it was so relaxing and beautiful and was the perfect way to end our vacation!
The next morning, we left early to catch the Magna Train to the airport. It's German technology and it was so smooth and fast!
301 km/h is equivalent to 187 mph!! There was a group of Germans riding the train and they were joking that they had to fly all the way over to China to ride their own invention!
After a LONG flight, we finally made it home. We were SO excited to see our kids! Ethan and Ellie both hugged us and were excited to see us home. Sweet Ellie hugged me for like 30 minutes straight. Mason on the other hand....
Not so excited to see me.
He was fine when Justin or Chanda held him but he was madder than a hornet at me and would cry and cry and cry when I would hold him.
I don't blame him for being mad. 10 days is a long time to be away from your momma!
We are so grateful for Chanda and her hubby for taking care of our brood and for nursing them through their (and your own!) sicknesses. We will be forever grateful!
We had the time of our lives in China and are so indebted to BHN for giving us the opportunities to see and explore the world together. Thank you.
Sam and his workers were so good to care of us while we were over there and if you ever read this Sam, thank you so much!!
