Ethan was terrified of the waves at first and wouldn't take his eyes off of them, not even for a picture...
He looked like this most of the time pulling our fingers to get away from the waves.. poor little guy...
But after a while he got used to the waves and had fun throwing shells into the water with daddy.
He actually got a little too brave one time and was quite surprised when the water ascended up a little higher than he thought it would and he got soaked. He was a pretty good trooper though and still wanted to throw the shells, but kept a good distance from the water after that!
We absolutely love living here and are enjoying every minute of it! We feel so blessed that we are able to have this wonderful opportunity to make good friends, be out on our own, and experience and live another culture and language! Maybe we will just stay here forever :)

your diaper cake is adorable! that is so weird about C-sections in Mexico, I NEVER would have thought that. My husband had surgery in Mexico while on his mission to have his appendix removed, he always jokes it was taken out with a rusty spoon, but no, it was a nice, normal hospital! what a beautiful beach!
