We ate at Pancho's for breakfast pretty much every morning we were there. With great food and a eating spot right out on the beach, how could we not keep coming back?!
We spent LOTS of time out on the beach. We played in the sand, flew kites and just relaxed! Ethan loved building sand castles but I think he loved knocking them down even more.
My parents out on the beach....
At first Ethan was pretty scared of the waves, but he quickly got over that and I think would have ran out as far as he could if I would have let him! Kids have no fear...

We shopped around out on the streets quite a bit and just had to buy Ethan this adorable little hat. He actually kept it on most of the time too!
We also took my parents to a lookout point and saw the whole city of Mazatlan! It's such a beautiful place!
After a few days in Mazatlan, we took my mom and dad to Culiacan to show them where we live. On our way, we stopped in a cute little town called El Quelite. If you are ever in Mazatlan, this adorable little place is a must! They have a really good restaurant there called El Meson De Los Laureanos. It is decorated with tons of beautiful flowers, greenery and this lovely little parrot...
Justin accidently got a little too close to bird and the bird proceeded to bite a button right off his shirt!
This restaurant also puts on a culture show and Justin and I were chosen to go up on stage to learn how to dance Mexican style. Although we dont have too much rhythym, I think we would have easily beaten the rest of them in a dance off :)
Back in Culican, we showed my parents around our neighborhood and also around some of the sights of the city, This flag is visible from anywhere in Culican- we think it's beautiful and it's pretty much the biggest flag we have ever seen!
So needless to say, we had a great time with my family here and we were pretty much exhausted by the end of the trip, as shown.....
Thanks Mom & Dad for making the trip out to see us! It sure was fun!

that big flag reminds me of the TX flag at the carlot by the IAH airport! Jake thought it was so funny to see a HUGE TX flag like that!
