Right before Christmas, we decided to visit Justin's grandparents over in Mesa. A visit was long overdue! We had so much fun chatting with them, eating some of grandma's yummy brittle, leaf throwing, and picking pecans and oranges in their beautiful backyard.
Mason was completely content just roaming the backyard, checking it all out, and picking as many oranges off the tree as possible.
Grandpa showed us how to crack open the pecans, peel and eat them. There's nothing like pecans off your own tree!
Isn't he still such a handsome guy?! His wife is equally beautiful but she was busy baking yummy pies in the kitchen and I forgot to get a picture of her!
See, we do have a fall here in the valley!! It's just a whole lot later than the rest of the country :)
The leaves are all changing here and it is beautiful. There's nothing like an AZ winter.
We sure do love these two special people.
We love their witty sense of humor, their kindness, and their love for others.
We definitely need to visit them more often.
