Justin was actually in town and off work for Labor day this year! It's rare that he is ever in town to take part on those 3 day holiday weekends so we were so excited to have him home with us. We decided to just stay home and take it easy instead of joining the mass exodus of the whole valley up north to cooler weather.
We went swimming, put up wainscoting in our guest bath (pics to come!), and went to the AZ Science Museum together. I bought a smokin' deal off groupon for an annual pass and the kids love going here.
I specifically took pictures of this super cool magnet board so my dad could see what I want him to build for our children's playroom. Don't you think that would be an awesome Christmas present :)
Mason is still... not walking but wants to do everything that a walking kid can do. So he gets frustrated.. a lot.
*On a side note, wouldn't you love to have his beautiful skin color? Yeah.. me too. *
It was too crowded there to let him crawl around but once he got out, he was sure super happy!
He pushes objects around all day long, but being able to push a stroller around could keep him entertained for hours.
Ethan and Ellie had fun racing in the wheelchairs until Ellie beat Ethan (with the help of daddy). Turns out, Ethan has a pretty competitive side to him...I wonder where he gets it from? :)
We finished out the day at the water area where Mason got completely soaked! He had the time of his life though so it was worth it!
Ellie isn't much for splashing and so she was making this funny face the whole time we were out there.
Her eyes would open but she kept that nose scrunched and that mouth wide open! She is such a funny girl.

It was so nice to have Justin home with us! It was a fun, relaxing, and yet productive weekend.
